neglected pool constant traffic
The pool needed cleaning. It seemed neglected. the noise from the nearby road was intrusive and disruptive. the hotel clearly needs a refresh

renovated and convenient stay
modern decor lemon trees view convenient location
I appreciated the renovated floor with its modern white decor. the double panoramic room featured a view of lemon trees and the sitting area. half board was convenient for meals, especially since i usually ate lunch out. the hotel is close to marinella beach. You can walk there to watch the sunset.
The hotel access includes steps from the road entrance. Ramps would improve luggage handling and wheelchair accessibility.

the breakfast buffet included many options and fresh cappuccino. the hotel restaurant had a wide selection of choices and well-prepared italian dishes. there was a gala dinner every saturday showcasing the chef's skills.

the staff was kind and helpful at all times. reception was useful and always available to assist with requests. the cleaning staff were excellent, the rooms were super clean daily .

short walk train station repetitive pastries hot food
the location was a short walk to the train station, so that was acceptable.
I found the breakfast quite repetitive after a few days. The same pastries every morning grew tiresome, and i wished there was more variety in the hot food selection.. maybe some more fresh fruit.

i found the train station to be a short walk away. the swimming pool was deep and very sheltered. i also found modern bedrooms.
the breakfast lacked variation and felt a bit repetitive. i noticed too many cakes and pastries, some was to be leftovers from dinner.

really fine lodging experience
helpful staff lemon trees
the staff are very helpful all the time. the restaurant is also very good and the food are delicious. the hotel gardens are full of flowers and lemon trees, it smell so good. the location is very near the train station and it makes visiting sorrento easy.
noise carries easily through the walls, problematic when other guests slams doors early. i think thicker walls will reduce disturbance and ensure a quite stay. it would improve the experience.

the breakfast selection includes a variety of fresh pastries and savory items. the pastries, both sweet and savory, are homemade in the hotel kitchen. guests may order a cappuccino freshly made for them.

the staff at reception assist guests at all times. every day, fresh towels are in the rooms. the staff provides assistance and are happy to fulfill requests. reception colleagues are super, as is mario.

the hotel rooms feature a balcony equipped with two chairs and a table. the hotel is very clean. staff members were friendly and helpful. a train station is located within a short walk.
noise travels easily through the walls, so i could hear noise in the corridors. the beds are quite firm. drinks at the hotel bar were expensive. a small pinot wine cost seven euros.
