great pressure shower breakfast option fresh fruit
The room was a standard double or twin room and offered enough space. the shower had great water pressure, a welcome feature after exploring. breakfast included varied options and fresh fruit. This was a nice touch for iceland.
The lighting in the room could have been brighter. It was a little dim at times.

A Stellar Stay Near the Golden Circle
generous room warm shower relaxed atmosphere outdoor hot tubs
My recent visit proved nice. The room size felt generous, and it accommodated an extra mattress easily. The shower delivered strong, warm water, perfect after exploring the area. I liked the relaxed atmosphere at the bar and also enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs.
Breakfast options felt limited, focusing mostly on English breakfast items, so it wasn't fully to my taste. However this is minor.

The rooms provided big televisions. Bedding was comfortable and allowed very restful sleeps, something i needed. Rooms offer direct access to the courtyard with hot tubs.

Staff members displayed both friendly and professional behavior. I received useful robes for using hot tub facilities. One staff kindly wrote down restaurant recommendations for us.

short drive warm water
the secret lagoon was really close, its a short drive. staff gave good directions, i found it easily. the hot tubs was great at night. i like the warm water after a long travel day.
the room was a little too dark at night. the light wasn't great to read.

missing amenities room size
the location proved convenient for exploring nearby attractions.
The room looked much smaller than anticipated based on photos. the absence of basic amenities was disappointing. I specifically missed having readily available outlets near the bed. the overall maintenance seemed lacking, with noticeable wear and tear.

lovely stay
nice garden comfortable bed friendly staff
the hotel has a nice garden with direct access from each room through a separate door i found two jacuzzis with hot natural water perfect for relaxation after sightseeing my room included a massive and comfortable bed and a similarly large tv it was enjoyable. the staff were very friendly and accommodating during dinner.
breakfast started late at 7:30 am so i wasn't able to enjoy it before traveling around the golden circle.

the staff responded to requests for rooms to be close to each other there was also assistance in notifying guests when the aurora looked their kindness made the new year's celebration special it made for a more personal experience.

clean hot tubs pleasant scent on-site restaurant sloping shower floor uninspired food minimal breakfast
I found the hot tubs quite clean and enjoyable. It felt luxurious and the main building had a pleasant scent. Parking was available and there was a restaurant on site, very convenient.
The shower floor sloped away from the drain, so the bathroom flooded during showers. The food was disappointing and uninspired. Breakfast felt minimal, as if items were rationed.

fresh breakfast helpful staff nearby lagoon
the breakfast included many choices and tasted fresh i found the staff helpful with all requests. an extra bed was provided in my room it was arranged before i arrived. the location is near a lagoon i visited.
the bathroom floor had a slight leakage from the valve i noticed.
