The room was lovely and the bed proved very comfortable. The breakfast also tasted really good. It was actually the best I had had in France over ten days.
The shower was a bit problematic. It was difficult to keep the spray from going onto the bathroom floor. I found that rather annoying.

The room was a Superior Double Room and it felt spacious. The staff were very helpful and friendly (always smiling!). The hotel offered easy, safe parking on the premises.
The town area surrounding the hotel seemed a bit neglected. I was surprised the bar was closed . I found that I could not charge meals to my room. I needed to settle separately.

I was quite disappointed. The bathroom had only one small sink for two people. The bedding felt old, and the mattresses were too soft. I had booked a 'Superior Double Room' but it definitely didn't feel superior. It is a shame considering the price (especially with the ++).

quirky ideascupboard doorceiling designhandle mirror
the room design featured some quirky ideas. opening what looked like a cupboard door revealed the toilet, quite interesting. the ceiling resembled one of those adult coloring books, a unique touch. the mirror had a handle allowing one to see into the bedroom and out to the balcony.
i noticed that the area of town surrounding the accommodation was somewhat neglected.

the room included a large covered balcony equipped with a table and chairs. inside, a spacious walk-in shower enhanced the bathroom. the provision of a separate wc offered increased convenience and privacy to me.
