charming stay near the canal

I liked the elevator. It provided easy access for my luggage. The staff were friendly and eager to assist. The location was central. I could reach most attractions by foot.
NO real complaints. a larger room would have been preferable.

a perfect, romantic escape

helpful staff dining options canal view
The staff was helpful and accommodating. i received a comprehensive list of nearby dining options. my 3rd floor room had a lovely canal view. everything felt so connected and special. It was exactly what we needed.
the building's historical age meant no air conditioning. the room became hot, especially during warm weather. we had to open a window, but street noise disrupted our peace.

our double room was cosy and very clean. it included all necessary amenities. hot water was excellent for showers.
Location

the staff were polite and friendly! they really could not do enough for you. the front desk staff was excellent, even going above and beyond to help us.
Facilities

The hotel offers a lift, a great amenity given the narrow stairs. a metro station and tram stop are just a short walk away. i really appreciated these conveniences. They enhanced our experience.

friendly staff superb location small room street noise
I LIKED that the staff was friendly. Rick helped me a lot with directions and suggestions for things to do. The location was superb (near many attractions).
THE room was really small. It was also noisy since my room faced the street. I had trouble sleeping because of the people outside (especially at night). The lack of air conditioning was a real problem during the warmer days.
