Uneven experience. Location good, upkeep needed

location was quite central. it was near a lot of attractions.
The stairs inside the hotel had not been cleaned for a long time. also, i found the bathroom wasn't clean. The shower head was very dirty. i didn't feel comfortable to use the shower. the room floor was not mopped .

This accommodation offered a really central location near main attractions. i found the staff friendly. They provided helpful tips for local restaurants. my room included air conditioning and the bathroom had good size. i appreciated how easy it was to walk to the train station with my luggage.
the hotel street was somewhat noisy. the breakfast felt quite basic. i noticed the jam had mold.

dirty toilet seatdisappointing breakfast
the stairs upon entering had clearly not been vacuumed in ages the water dispenser in the hall had cucumbers and lemons in it that looked old. the bathroom was not clean at all the toilet seat was very dirty. i didn't dare use the shower the floor in the room needed to be mopped. during breakfast a cat was on the table the breakfast was disappointing the eggs were blue and green the pancakes were paper-like.

mixed feelings about the stay

safe locationsmall roombroken closet
the location seemed safe enough, that was a plus.
the room was small with virtually no storage space. the closet was falling apart, detached from the wall and to make it worse, an ironing board hogged the limited space. this made it difficult to settle in comfortably.
