the staff helped with transport options. the location is walkable to places of interest. they serve very good coffee to brighten up the day.

friendly staff helpful staff spacious room cozy bar
The staff were so friendly and helpful. they offered great recommendations. the room was spacious (i stayed in a double room). i also liked the cozy bar. It was super comfortable.
the bathroom was definitely on the smaller side.

the cafe at the hotel entrance had great coffee and relaxing jazz music. they make their own granola and fruit breakfast daily. the ginger tea was also exquisite (especially on a cold day).

Acceptable stay near the market
clean feel great staff small room wet clothes
The hotel is very close to the market. The staff were also polite and gave information regarding places to eat. The hotel had a cozy and clean feel.
The room was small and I had to put my suitcase right inside the door. My clothes were not fully dried when I used the laundry machine. More space would have been appreciated. I needed more space for my stay.

uncomfortable room outside noise
the staff was very cute and made me feel right at home there.
My room was not comfortable at all. It was like there was no window. icy wind passed through and the bed was right under that gap, so i had to sleep with a beanie on. i heard all the noise from outside and there was nothing to block the light

amazing experience!
great location friendly staff clean room
I loved the location. It is near the market and the castle. the staff was friendly and allowed me to check in early. the room was spacious. it was super clean and the bed was comfortable. i really appreciated how quiet it was too.

the location is fantastic, only around the corner from the market. i could easily walk to the higashi chaya tea district. it's just a short distance from the gardens and other attractions.

i enjoyed the coffee and breakfast set available in the morning. the cafe downstairs was friendly. i especially liked the home-made granola and fruit breakfast and the exquisite ginger tea.

the staff was nice and helpful and spoke english well. they even provided pajamas, what a treat. they gave me directions to the park and the castle while it was raining.

the staff was very friendly. they gave good recommendations of local places to visit. the location was great (i especially liked being close to the market).
The room was quite small. i had trouble with my luggage inside the door. the walls seemed thin. I could hear noises around me.
