Excellent Stay
spacious room complimentary pastries relaxation options lovely option
My room was quite spacious for a Japanese hotel. The hotel offered complimentary pastries, coffee, tea, and other beverages in the lobby (a good touch!). I found games and self-select music options there, a nice place to relax. I could even take the food to my room, a lovely option.
The safe in my room was not working correctly. the staff offered a new room, a gesture I appreciated.

bright lights small room
The onsen with sauna was great. It was not far from the castle.
The lights in the room were SUPER bright, and it was too bright for me to sleep without an eye mask. The light sensor in the room was also a problem because I couldn't go to the bathroom in the middle of the night without it turning on. The room felt EXTREMELY small.

Acceptable stay, but with issues.
unhelpful staff wrong directions
The hotel is close to the market, convenient.
The staff was unhelpful when I asked for directions to facilities. They provided incorrect information. This caused unnecessary confusion and wasted my time. I expect accurate assistance, especially in a hotel of this supposed caliber.

A haven of kindness and light
central location umbrella availability relaxing onsens
The hotel had a central location near the market and within walking distance of the castle, temples and the edo era district, perfect for exploration! complimentary umbrellas were available. I really appreciated them when i was caught in heavy snow. the male and female onsens were relaxing after long days.
some minor issues arose, the bathroom light activated via a sensor, illuminating the room during nighttime visits.

The hotel features a small, charming public bath on the 13th floor with a vending machine offering milk after bathing. It created a fun experience. shared microwaves and coin laundry services were available.

convenient location complimentary umbrellas relaxing onsens nice bath
i found the location convenient, close to the market and various attractions. complimentary umbrellas were available (a nice touch during unexpected rain). the onsens were a great way to relax after a day of exploring. the bathrooms included nice baths, a welcome addition.
the gym was small. it contained only two pieces of equipment.
