Underwhelming Stay
stained towels poor temperature control
The location was acceptable.
I did see many hairs in the bathroom upon arrival, gross. The shower had poor temperature control. It switched rapidly from scalding to freezing. The towels provided had several stains on them. They look old.

charmed stay
central location maintained room friendly staff sea view
the location really worked for what i wanted i could easily reach everything. the rooms were maintained well they offered good comfort. staff seemed quite friendly and always provided quick assistance. the rooms offered a great view i especially liked looking at the sea from my window.
the hallway needed some dusting it wasn't a big deal though

the building sits close to the ferry terminal this made arrival and departure very simple. several good restaurants sit nearby for convenient dining options. a bakery is also quite close it offers fresh pastries and bread.

the hotel offers amazing sea views i liked looking out from the rooms. the location is central making it easy to explore local attractions. public transportation is also easily accessible from here.

the room included a comfy bed that ensured a good night's sleep. my room also had a huge window. rooms include well-equipped amenities that catered to needs. bathrooms are spacious and are quite comfortable.

a fryup was available for breakfast. this provided a hearty start to the day. the cafe downstairs offered additional meal options. a baker nearby offers good alternatives.

satisfactory stay
delicious breakfast ideal location fried food window mould
the breakfast was well prepared. it set me up nicely for the day (especially the full breakfast!). the location is ideal to explore the island.
i noticed a constant smell of fried food throughout the building. there was also some mould on one of the windows.

broken kettle outdated sticker
the staff were friendly.
The kettle was broken and unsafe. none of the electrical items had current pat test stickers. The one on the hairdryer was from 2019. i sent a text to mitch, the owner, regarding the kettle which he read and ignored (this was quite frustrating).

seafront location spacious room excellent breakfast
The guesthouse was very close to the ferry terminal and right on the seafront. the room was spacious and equipped with everything i needed. breakfast was excellent. It was better than i expected.
the room was a bit basic.
