dim lighting inconsistent water temperature
The staff were friendly and approachable making check-in easy.
The hotel seemed dated like it was decades behind the times. The room lighting was dim and insufficient. The shower had inconsistent water temperature it fluctuated from hot to cold unexpectedly.

helpful staff easy check-in lovely lounge
i found the staff very willing to help in any way. check-in was easy i believe. a lovely lounge was available for my use.
it reminded me of the hotel was stuck in time a few decades ago. our bed frame was broken and the couch too old.

A Home Away From Home
excellent location large room varied breakfast nice lounge
The location is excellent I found it easy to walk into town. My room was large it had a window facing the back garden it was quiet. Breakfast included both cooked and continental options I thought that was great. The lounge area added a nice space to relax.
The hotel decor seemed a little dated to me.

The family running the hotel is friendly they are knowledgeable. They willingly helped me in every way they could I felt well looked after. Check-in was quick and efficient I thought that was smooth.

The room was comfortable it was also clean. The hotel offered a cosy atmosphere throughout I appreciated that. I had no issues with noise I thought the room was quiet.
