charmed by my stay

the food was great in the hekla restaurant. the spa was pleasant and i found hot water there after sightseeing. the staff was cute from the start to finish, i liked it.
i had paid for a panoramic room, but it was with views of a car park. the room was unlike the pictures. it did not include a bath tub.

the hotel sits a bus stop about three minutes by foot behind the building. buses frequently travel from that location into town. i found the surroundings very useful.

The promised panoramic view turned out to overlook a less-than-desirable building. It fell far short of expectations. the room was dated, and the ambiance felt rather dark. furthermore the location proved inconvenient, requiring considerable travel to reach desired attractions.

The free upgrade to the Panorama Top Floor Balcony Suite Spa was very nice! I really appreciated the view from the windows. There were a lot of amenities in the bathroom I never expected, for example, a razor, comb, and even a sewing kit! The breakfast was also great. It had a lot of choices.
I wish the sauna in the men's area wasn't out of order, though I understand things break sometimes.
