Spa delight
dining options free parking airport ride good location
I enjoyed the on-site restaurant. It offered convenient dining options, and there was plenty of free onside parking. The staff booked our airport ride, which I appreciated. The hotel provided a good location near various shops and restaurants within walking distance.
The coffee machine in the room did NOT function. This was a slight inconvenience.

free parking good spot
the free parking across the street was helpful. i easily found a space. the grótta lighthouse was close. it was a good spot to see the aurora.
the tv had audio description turned on. it was hard to watch movies.

charmed by my stay
hot water great food
the food was great in the hekla restaurant. the spa was pleasant and i found hot water there after sightseeing. the staff was cute from the start to finish, i liked it.
i had paid for a panoramic room, but it was with views of a car park. the room was unlike the pictures. it did not include a bath tub.

the hotel sits a bus stop about three minutes by foot behind the building. buses frequently travel from that location into town. i found the surroundings very useful.

dated room inconvenient location
the breakfast was acceptable, with sufficient options available to start the day.
The promised panoramic view turned out to overlook a less-than-desirable building. It fell far short of expectations. the room was dated, and the ambiance felt rather dark. furthermore the location proved inconvenient, requiring considerable travel to reach desired attractions.

Amazing Stay! Will definitely be back!
free upgrade bathroom amenities breakfast choices
The free upgrade to the Panorama Top Floor Balcony Suite Spa was very nice! I really appreciated the view from the windows. There were a lot of amenities in the bathroom I never expected, for example, a razor, comb, and even a sewing kit! The breakfast was also great. It had a lot of choices.
I wish the sauna in the men's area wasn't out of order, though I understand things break sometimes.

The room was super clean, and it was very clean! The panoramic windows gave me a fine view. It was just perfect! The bed felt super comfy. I had a great night's sleep.
