Excellent Stay Near the Castle
ideal location convenient proximity onsen facilities
The location proved ideal for exploring local landmarks. I found the proximity to the castle and gardens particularly convenient. The onsen facilities were a welcome addition, especially after long days of sightseeing. The hotel included minibar beverages.

The staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel has an onsen, it was clean and offered great amenities. I appreciated the laundry facilities. The hotel provides a shuttle service to and from the train station.

adequate stay
attentive staff convenient location nature trail aged hotel uncomfortable bed poor ventilation
the staff were polite and attentive. i was able to communicate in english at the front desk. the hotel is conveniently located close to the castle and the kenrokuen garden. a short nature walking trail leads to that area of the town.
The hotel is very aged. i thought the beds were quite uncomfortable for longer stays (more than one night). the ventilation isn't great. It smelled like food near the front desk.
