The rooms were beautifully appointed with local details. Each meal featured fresh, local ingredients. I really enjoyed the historical tour learning about the hotel's past. Soap making was fun, and I baked bread in a wood-burning oven. It was educational. The staff were great too accommodate all requests.
The lunch menu was somewhat limited.

The grounds feature wonderful gardens with flowers and orange trees. An infinity pool offered a feeling of serenity. The on-site spa provides massage and facial treatments. I really liked the gym equipment, though a bit dated, I had what I needed.
