I appreciated the room's view of the Rhine. It was very beautiful. Breakfast offered many choices I enjoyed. The hotel provided bikes for exploring the area and I found this very convenient.

the location was ideal, right on the river. my room was a double room view to rhine river, i enjoyed fantastic views from my window. the staff were friendly and efficient. the breakfast offered a great variety.
soundproofing was a slight issue, i could hear some noise from neighboring rooms (but it wasn't a major problem!).

tea and coffee facilities are conveniently available on each floor (always a plus!). the historic building offers a unique charm that is hard to find elsewhere.

the location was superb. we enjoyed the river views, especially at breakfast (the pastries were good!). water, coffee, and tea stations on every floor were a nice touch, especially the sparkling water.
the absence of air conditioning was a slight inconvenience, even in early august. i know there are laws around this, but it did make the room a bit warm, particularly at night.
