Decent Location, Disappointing Details
ineffective air conditioningscuffed walls
The room's air conditioning was not very effective, a problem given the summer heat. I noticed scuffed walls and general wear throughout the hotel. Housekeeping also missed our room one day, even though we had the 'make up room' sign displayed. It was like the hotel was cutting corners, especially disappointing considering it is part of a larger chain.

The hotel's location proved excellent for shopping and exploring local eateries. Subway access was very close (just a short walk away). I found a money exchange machine and coin laundry with detergent in the lobby, very convenient.
Some wear and tear was visible. The bedroom hallways showed some worn walls, and the doors needed some maintenance.

the hotel staff was helpful. the room was clean. the walk to the metro was easy.
i found the lack of luggage assistance frustrating. i had to carry my own suitcases to my room (i have back issues). it was also inconvenient to have to go to the 9th floor to weigh my luggage at checkout without help.

the hotel offers a modern experience. the location is very convenient, a short walk from seolleung subway station. i found direct airport bus access, simplifying my arrival. the chic lobby lounge on the 9th floor provides a pleasant social space (i used it for work).
the foot spa was unavailable during my entire stay, a little disappointing, considering i had hoped to use it.

breakfast was satisfactory, with a range of options. the taco restaurant around the corner (opposite the hotel) served very tasty food. i also passed a french baguette shop nearby and it was really good.

the front desk staff are knowledgeable and have a good command of english. i found the staff greeted me in both korean and english on the first floor. security staff helped speak to the airport shuttle driver. (very helpful!).

the room was spacious, neat and clean with modern fittings. the bed was very comfortable. i appreciated the good pillows and linen, and a heated toilet and bidet was included. malin+goetz toiletries were provided in the bathroom.

there is a 7/11 convenience store in the basement. the hotel provides a shared laundry facility with machines. transport is convenient from this hotel. i also appreciated direct access to seolleung station exit 10 by metro line 2.
