the hotel location is great. it sits right next to the beach. i am very happy the staff allowed earlier check in when my room was ready. breakfast was buffet style and it has plenty choice.
online they show the nicest rooms only. i booked the duplex quadruple garden view, there was no images. i assumed the room had a similar look, it did not. my balcony has bird droppings and a parking lot view, not a 'garden view'.

the restaurant food was good, especially the seafood.
i was quite annoyed the family room in the garden annex felt cramped. there was very little space for our luggage, and it. the mezzanine upstairs was unbearably hot, even though the weather was relatively cool.

The location was perfect! the beach was right there. I secured an earlier check-in, so kind. the staff allowed my little dog in the dining room. i appreciated their warm generosity.
The room lacked easy ventilation. it was difficult to get fresh air without leaving the balcony door open. This made for a very hot night.

distant buildingpoor explanation
the room was definitely not as advertised. we ended up in a building away from the main hotel, facing other buildings instead of the beach. the staff member seemed too busy to assist us properly, just asking about dinner and not providing any helpful information. it felt pretty unwelcoming after a long drive. we had no clue where breakfast was or anything else for that matter.
