charming gem in the old town!
central location friendly staff
I adored the central location. It made exploring so easy. the breakfast buffet included a wide selection, and the scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly! the staff members were genuinely friendly and always ready to help with any request i had. Made a difference. the sauna and plunge pool provided a relaxing experience after a long day of sightseeing.
while the hotel boasts a historic charm, the absence of air conditioning in the room was noticeable! i had to keep the windows open, and the street noise at night did disturb my sleep a bit.

the double room featured a comfy bed and a large bathtub, offering a relaxing space. storage was limited to an open wooden bar, so suitcases may need to be stored elsewhere. a small safe was missing from the room.

Acceptable stay but with some issues
noisy fan church bell
The hotel's location was great for seeing many historical things.
The noise level at this hotel was something I didn't expect. Church bells rang every half hour all night long so sleeping was difficult. I tried to close the windows but a noisy fan made it hard to find peace.

Decent central stay
helpful staff ample choices street noise clock tower
The staff were very helpful (especially with directions). Breakfast had ample choices. It was a really nice start to the day. The location is in the heart of the old town. It made exploring very easy.
The clock tower nearby chimes every fifteen minutes. This could be bothersome for light sleepers. My room lacked air conditioning. I had to sleep with the windows open, so I heard street noise.

Decent Stay in a Central Location
central location friendly staff delicious breakfast noisy rooms church bell thin walls
The hotel had a very central location close to the Royal Palace and Nobel Museum. It was easy to walk around from the hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly (they offered some recommendations). Breakfast had a smaller selection than other hotels, but it was really delicious and exactly enough (I didn't feel like I was missing anything).
My room was a bit noisy. I could hear children crying and other guests next to me. The church bell struck every half hour. I closed the windows to reduce the noise (it helped a bit).
