Lakewoods Cottage Resort is situated 10 km from the west gate of Algonquin Park, providing direct access to its extensive network of trails and lakes. Visitors can reach both Huntsville and Dorset within a short drive. The resort allows guests to explore the picturesque surroundings of Muskoka and the Algonquin Highlands.

The resort offers fully equipped housekeeping cottages, ranging from one to two bedrooms and accommodating up to six guests. Each cottage includes a kitchen with the essentials, living space, and a private bathroom. A limited number of cottages provide discounted Algonquin Park day passes with a minimum two-night stay.
