a nice visit!
amazing area friendly staff comfortable bed
i found the hotel had amazing communal areas. the staff were friendly and always cute. the bed in my room was wonderfully comfortable , ensuring a good night's sleep.
i noticed a significant number of stairs with no lift , which could be challenging with mobility issues.

amazing quirky getaway!
vintage decor oat milk short walk
I adored the quirky, vintage decor , made it unlike any other place i've stayed (the antiques were a real treat!). i also really appreciated the oat milk provided each morning. It made my coffee perfect. the location was fab, giving me very nice views. it was just a short walk to town.
the stairs were a bit of a challenge, especially since there is no lift. it wasn't a deal breaker, but definitely something to consider if you have mobility issues.

the staff were cute and helpful (especially john the dog!). the service included fresh milk and orange juice delivered each morning. they even catered to my vegan needs with vegan cream for cocktails.

quirky stay with harbour views
harbour view themed room cute hosts
the location offered fantastic views of the harbour and abbey. our room, the king room sea view, was uniquely themed and full of character. the hosts were very cute, this.
the on-street parking was a bit difficult (especially during busy periods). i had to move my car early the next morning.

nice stay
helpful staff tasty breakfast quirky room
the staff was friendly and helpful. breakfast delivered to the room tasted really good. the location is perfect. it made getting around easy, i liked that. the decor is amazing, the atmosphere feels so special, i noted that. the room was quirky, i found it to be enjoyable.
the parking costed 6 pounds. i found a space, but it was on the street.

The staff provided convenient parking permits. The location was acceptable.
The lack of an elevator was a problem. Many stairs were involved. My room, Double Room Sea View, lacked basic amenities. There was no television. It was quite disappointing.

charming and super clean stay
hotel personality quirky touches warm atmosphere
I really enjoyed the hotel's personality and the quirky, unique touches (loved the curios!). the hotel had such a cool vibe, which captured the charm of the area perfectly. staff were very friendly and helpful. They made sure i felt at home. i particularly loved the fabulous view of the abbey from my room.
the hotel did not have a lift, so i had to climb many stairs (i had quite a lot of luggage).

the rooms feature unique themes and quirky decor, complete with curious collections. the hotel has a cocktail library bar, which serves amazing cocktails (the la rosa was my favorite). it provides fresh milk and orange juice daily to each room.

breakfast includes a light continental offer, served in a charming space. the hotel serves coffee and delicious chocolate porter cake in the afternoons. i was able to have breakfast sent up to my room or eat it in the dining room.

the hotel is within walking distance to all bars and restaurants. there are fabulous views of the abbey and the harbor. st mary's church is also visible from the hotel.
