i found the food to be excellent the staff were both friendly and helpful. my room was quite spacious as was the bathroom a detail i very much appreciated. even the provided toilet paper seemed to be of premium quality.
the television provided was quite small i found it lacking smart capabilities and limited in its channel selection which was a slight inconvenience

the hotel is situated approximately a ten-minute walk to the broads a location i found conducive for leisurely exploration there are also easily accessible beaches nearby a pleasant addition for visitors.

my room included a fridge which i found especially useful and there were deck chairs available adding a touch of relaxation. the room was also bright and clean offering a quite cute environment .

the hawthorn suite had a beautiful bathroom and the room felt inviting. breakfast was delicious , and nothing was like too much trouble.
the lane leading to the hotel had some potholes that could use attention.

Fantastic Stay at a Wonderful Hotel!

I stayed for two nights and found ample parking. The food impressed me, especially the delicious breakfast with several choices. I enjoyed strolling through the lovely grounds down to the Oulton Broad. There were lots of things to do, including a river trip and a visit to Carlton Marsh nature reserve.
The restaurant menu had limited options. Some listed items were unavailable. They were not replaced with other dishes.

i visited with my two pugs recently and i wholeheartedly recommend it to dog lovers wanting a break. the staff were helpful and cute to both me and my dogs. i plan to return for future stays. the grounds and buildings were lovely.
The hotel is a bit far from things. I think it's a long walk to oulton broad. without a car, getting around might be difficult.

my courtyard room opened directly onto the courtyard, very convenient when traveling with my dogs. the room was clean and a good size, providing ample space for both myself and my pets to move around freely.
