parking lot viewinsufficient soundproofing
firstly, the promised teide view from my room did not materialize. Instead, i faced the parking lot. this discrepancy is not acceptable. secondly, the noise levels were disturbing. i could clearly hear conversations and other disturbances from adjacent rooms because soundproofing was insufficient. this impacted my ability to rest adequately after a long days of travel.

the gym was acceptable. it had sufficient equipment for a basic workout.
the room i stayed in, a suite mountain view, felt quite outdated. the furniture showed wear, and the balcony had plastic chairs. mountain view included the parking lot, not ideal.
