Excellent Stay with Delicious Food
quick check-in spacious room excellent steak
Mark greeted me warmly upon arrival, which I found very helpful. The check-in process was quick. I booked just minutes before. My room was spacious, and I appreciated the building's character. I particularly enjoyed the restaurant. My steak was excellent.
The room was a bit cold initially, but it warmed up after I turned on the heating.

The room was very clean (which I always appreciate). The bed was comfortable. The hotel has a good location near several pubs.
My room was pretty cold on arrival. The music from downstairs was quite loud, even late in the evening. The room also lacked a teaspoon for having yogurt.

wonderful stay
warm welcome clean room fresh food
mark the owner greeted us warmly upon arrival. our room was clean and bright a welcome sight after a long day. the food at the in house restaurant tasted fresh and was cooked to perfection.
the bathroom light used a sensor that sometimes malfunctioned making it difficult to use at night.

the hotel staff provided a warm and efficient welcome contributing to a relaxed atmosphere. the owner mark ensured we reminded me of regular customers through friendly conversation. his wife helen helped with the service.

friendly owner comfortable bed dark fire escape no breakfast
the owner was friendly. he was helpful with directions and local suggestions. my room was tidy, and the bed was comfortable. the restaurant downstairs had a really good selection of meals.
access at night was problematic. the spiral fire escape was dark, and i was told to use it even with luggage.

superior king room convenient parking great food kitchen vent difficult shower no breakfast
i stayed in a superior king room. the room felt very cute. the parking was close by and convenient (down the street). the food at the hotel was really good. the bar had a great gin selection.
My room was located near kitchen vents so it was noisy. sleeping with the window open was difficult because of it. the shower was difficult to adjust. It alternated between very hot and cold. there was no breakfast provided.
