This inn is at the heart of the community. i found the staff friendly and helpful. Nothing seemed too much trouble. the atmosphere was inviting (even on a wednesday night!). i was invited to join in the pub quiz with the bar staff team.
i noticed the car park was completely full, which could be a slight inconvenience at peak times.

the pub food tasted good (especially the chicken supreme). holly, amanda, and other staff members seemed lovely and attentive. the room was a generous size while still feeling cozy. i found the countryside setting beautiful.

the hotel location was easy to find and provided ample parking. it was to be a popular spot, with a full car park visible on a wednesday evening. the hotel provides a great base if you want to visit family in the area.

the breakfast menu featured varied options (i saw egg benedict). the coffee was hot and strong. there was plenty of it. dinner and breakfast provided many choices and was to be of a high standard. i saw many guests enjoying the served food.

all the staff seemed friendly, helpful and happy, with nothing too much trouble. one staff member was efficient and friendly, dealing with our room allocation. i saw that holly has picked a great team, and jack is a polite young man. the staff were ready to go the extra mile.

The room was super clean i guess. A bit too super clean actually, almost sterile.
Honestly, the shower was a complete joke. More like a sad little drizzle than anything functional plus, the noise. oh, the noise! i swear, every floorboard in that place seemed determined to announce my every move to the entire hotel it was less a relaxing getaway and more a constant reminder that i was not alone. Very not alone
