a somewhat mixed experience

friendly staff good food smaller room uncomfortable bed
the staff were friendly. the food was good at dinner and breakfast. the location itself is a slice of heaven in a beautiful area. it made me so happy.
i booked a larger room initially and i told them we had a dog. a message came then, saying a dog charge would happen, and we needed to switch to a different room. the new room was smaller, yet the price wasn't change. the extra charge for a very uncomfortable camping bed for my little one was a surprise. he ended up sleeping in our bed for both nights.

Tranquil getaway

relaxing space large car park farm tour
The snug provides a relaxing space, distinct from the bar. A large car park with EV chargers is available. I look forward to touring the farm next time. The fairy lit lawn is extensive..
The shower stand in my room was broken. It made using the handheld shower awkward.
Dining
9/10
The menu includes a short selection of options, but the food is excellent. Locally sourced, organic produce enhances the dining experience. The rustic restaurant provides a charming setting.
Rooms
9/10
My room was situated in a separate annex, it enhanced the feeling of peace. It offers tranquility, away from the main areas. The rooms are tastefully decorated with pleasing decor.
Facilities
9/10
The honesty bar and shop in the courtyard adds a convenient touch. The hotel has a calm feel. There is great walking and archaeology on the doorstep.
