spacious room separate bath free parking
The spacious room featured a separate bath and shower area. Breakfast offered a great selection of foods. Free parking was available, a very convenient amenity. (I always appreciate that!)
The staff seemed to need more knowledge about nearby attractions.

Really good service, great amenities!
welcome drink easy parking clean environment attentive staff
I received a welcome drink upon arrival, a really thoughtful gesture. Parking proved very easy, a big plus after a long drive. I appreciated the very very comfy and tidy environment. The delivery of bottled water to the room each evening was another nice touch. I found the 5-course dinner to be delicious, with attentive staff. The proximity to the heli hike event was ideal, only a short walk.
I found the absence of a pool on the premises slightly disappointing. Considering the wellness focus of the hotel I think it's necessary.

The rooms are spacious with beautiful furnishings. I found the rain forest views from every side enhanced my experience. The hotel ensured I had accommodation. The rooms were very clean and well maintained.

This location offers easy access to various activities, including the West Coast Wildlife Centre. The hotel is situated within a lush rain forest, which creates a very calm atmosphere. Kiwi crossings are nearby, offering the chance to see local wildlife.

staff makes hotel good
willing staff rack lamb
the staff was always willing to help guests. the included five course meal was good, especially the rack of lamb. the turndown service reminded me of a nice extra.

friendly staff efficient service bottled water
The staff was friendly and efficient. Their service in both the restaurant and throughout the hotel stood out. I especially liked the juice provided upon arrival. Bottled water was also a nice extra in the room.
The fire alarm and evacuation was due to a thunderstorm. There looked to be a complete lack of management during this event.
