lovely stay with excellent food!
lovely grounds great views local ale
The grounds are lovely with great views. the hotel maintains calm despite being a busy venue. food was very good at the restaurant. I enjoyed the local ale from the bar a lot.
the receptionist was not very communicative when i asked about an umbrella.

The staff was attentive to my needs and requests. They were helpful. the reception team provided a great welcome even with a late arrival. the breakfast sitting area was large with beautiful views.

the room provided basic needs and was cozy. the rooms were clean upon arrival! though the bathroom shower was not cleaned daily. a local newspaper was provided in the room each evening.

the location was beautiful and quiet, accessible to the town! there were lovely walks around the hotel, though the walk to town is steep. easy parking was available.

The team arranged our stay smoothly, even with a late ferry arrival. I enjoyed the food served in the evening. I liked the thoughtful addition of the local newspaper in the room each evening.
I noticed the rooms are small, also the en-suite bathroom appears aged. I found the small air-con unit in the room to be quite noisy..

the location is central to town, with PLENTY of parking. the hotel has many rooms. the views from the terrace are amazing.
the room was pretty basic for the price i paid, nothing special. i felt there was nothing particularly cute about THE hotel. although the staff were very polite, i expected more.

Free parking IS A BONUS. The location provides an amazing view across the harbour. I FOUND breakfast good, there was plenty of fruit, yoghurts, cereal, and toast.

pretty garden helpful staff perfect view
i enjoyed the hotel's location, it offered a perfect view. the gardens were very pretty and provided ample seating. the staff were lovely, i found them very helpful .
the superior room was a bit small.

the hotel features a wildflower meadow that overlooks the sea. there is also easy parking for those who rent a car, a valuable benefit considering the location.

The restaurant was excellent. I found both breakfast and dinner quite good. the breakfast included a variety of options, from fruit and yogurt to cereal and toast. gluten free options are available during breakfast.
