Adequate Stay with Notable Issues

My stay presented a couple of issues I found bothersome. The fitness facilities were underwhelming. The gym felt more like a converted storage space than a proper workout area. Equipment was limited. I also experienced disturbances due to noise. The walls seemed thin, allowing sounds from adjacent rooms to disrupt my sleep. This lack of soundproofing detracted from the overall experience, and I expect more sound isolation.

The sharp corners on the bed frame were a problem. I actually hit my shin quite hard on one. The desk felt too high. The office chair did not raise high enough to comfortably use the desk. This made working in the room difficult.

I found the location excellent, offering convenient access to restaurants and shopping areas. The front desk staff were very friendly. (The valet attendant was particularly cool!) The hotel is close to the Eaton Centre and the underground city, a great bonus.

I noticed the hotel room I stayed in was quite noisy. I could hear water running through the pipes from other rooms.

i really liked our room with its super-deep, two-person bathtub, a really nice feature. the bed was also comfortable! i appreciated the heated dipping pool, especially since it was snowing outside, it was a wonderful addition.

i found the desk to be very high, it seemed made for giants, and the office chair did not go up high enough for me to comfortably use the desk.

The location is fantastic. I could easily walk to many attractions. the room was a classic king room, and i loved how spacious it was. i found the bed comfortable. I slept soundly each night.

The bathroom door handle fell off and locked the door. A repair person spent an hour replacing it! i wasn't offered any compensation. i was charged for an orange juice from the mini bar. I didn't drink it. i waited extended periods at the front desk for service

The elevators require a room key for operation. This added security is good. Parking is located around the side of the building and can accommodate large vehicles like my SUV. The doorman was present outside in the evening. He greeted guests and held the door open. My room had a fireplace.

Check-in occurred late at 4 PM. The valet service location was not very clear upon arrival. My fireplace was not working. It required a room change.
