the room was clean and had wifi.
The bathroom window lacked a blind, offering no privacy. the kettle could not be filled from the bathroom tap, so i had to buy bottled water, quite the inconvenience. the mountain view was nonexistent. All i saw was the tiny car park.

the room was a suite lake view and featured a large, comfortable bed. nature lovers will appreciate the private and romantic view out over the loch. a large balcony overlooked the loch, providing everything i needed. direct sea access was nearby at a viewpoint.
The wi-fi was awful. I struggled to even work after 8pm.

Breakfast included two porridge pots. They had very little taste and can be bought for less than £1 each! there are no cooking facilities at the lodge. Self-catering is not an option.

the owner was nice and easy to get along with! he was very helpful and had good banter! information on how to get into the building is provided via a number on the door.

the house sits directly on the loch, only metres away from the water! there is a priceless view of the loch, with trees and mountains. the postcode is easily found using satnav.

the location was great (it was close to the loch).
The rooms are noisy. You can hear every footstep from above. i couldn't sleep well because of the noise from other guests. the building's sound insulation is just not good enough for individual rentals.

The house sits right on the loch with mountains on both sides. The check-in process was easy, and the place was clean. There is a great restaurant just next door.. I found this charming.
The rooms can be very noisy. You can hear footsteps from above.

Acceptable Stay with Drawbacks

The room had a very nice view of the loch.
Unfortunately , the house had very poor soundproofing. I could easily hear other guests showering and talking , even when they were not close to my room. The WiFi was also completely unusable , and my mobile connection was unreliable too.

The shower was a bit of a letdown. The water pressure fluctuated constantly. also, the walls seemed thin. I could hear every conversation from the next room! it was difficult to relax with so much noise. i found it a bit disturbing. A restful stay was what i wanted.

The lake view from the suite was amazing. the mattress quality was high. i appreciated the fridge in the room. It proved very useful. porridge pots and muesli bars were provided, it was a thoughtful touch since breakfast was not available.
kitchen cupboards were locked with an external padlock, it felt peculiar. so many notices with instructions were posted around, i found it overwhelming. i found the terrace roof not waterproof, it kept us from sitting outside.
