Charming Stay in a Historic Setting!
historic building pretty square friendly staff
The building is historic. It is situated on a pretty square, only a minute from the high street. The room stayed cool, a welcome relief from the outdoor heat. The staff was friendly.
I noticed the absence of a refrigerator in the room, a facility that would have been beneficial, particularly for storing drinks and snacks, especially during warm weather.

mixed feelings about my stay
poor breakfast buffet dreadful coffee machine
The breakfast situation was odd to say the least. i supposedly opted in, but then got charged even on days i skipped it. it was like the system wasn't properly tracking who actually ate (or didn't eat) (maybe they need a better sign-in process?). also, the food was a bit hit or miss. Some ingredients seemed great but weren't really executed well. that coffee machine at breakfast? (sigh) it wasn't good at all.

The location was pretty great. parking was easy. That was nice. the staff seemed friendly and the room was very wonderful. i enjoyed a quiet beer on the front terrace near a tree filled square.
the room was fine. i found the food to be very poor. great ingredients were there, but poorly executed. the coffee machine was also dreadful.
