solid choice for a stopover

super clean roomfriendly staff

i have stayed in standard double rooms in the main building. the rooms were always super clean and well kept (i really appreciate that). the restaurant has a small choice, but their breakfasts are excellent. i don't know where they get their staff from, but they are friendly and make staying there a real pleasure.

the hotel is situated near a marina, providing easy access to the canal. it is great for walks. the location provides an accessible stop off point when travelling up to scotland or visiting the lakes.

the standard double room was super tidy on arrival and well maintained. there was no wardrobe in the room, just a few hangers above the tea and coffee station. beds, towels and bowls are provided in the room for dogs.
