the location is definitely a plus. it was an easy walk to most places. the rooms are a decent size and comfortable with most amenities required. i saw tea and coffee in the room, and i appreciated that.
the hotel had a large function. this took all staff away from other jobs. the bars and pool bar all closed. i complained to the reception and just got 'it's closed' with a shrug.

the location was acceptable, close to many attractions.
The safe in my room didn't work, a bit concerning when you have valuables. replacing it proved impossible, i had to carry everything around. the corridors seemed like they needed some serious work too. It looked quite old.

the staff was very friendly and helpful, it was acceptable.
the lack of drawer space in the room was disappointing. it would have been nice if the bedside tables were replaced with bedside drawer units. this would have made it easier to store my belongings and keep the room tidy
