excellent stay right by the mezquita!

I loved this place! the location is awesome. It is right by the entrance to the mezquita. the room i had (number 24!) included two balconies overlooking the mezquita's relief carvings. i got great sleep and the air conditioning worked perfectly (a huge plus!). the walk through the long corridors was really cool. I saw paintings and antique furniture.
the only minor thing was that there wasn't coffee in the room, so i had to grab some at starbucks in the mornings.

The front desk staff offered support and suggestions (they even helped me call a taxi!). the breakfast staff were polite and efficient each morning. everyone was smiling and attentive. It.

This place is super central. It is right beside the mezquita entrance. there's also an outdoor seating area for coffee and breakfast nearby. i found many restaurants and bars close to the place so i was never stuck for choice.

The breakfast was very adequate and varied. It helped to start each day. the hotel breakfast is a bargain and it is plentiful, useful to know. i found that the breakfast had a good range of options.

the hotel is like a museum with paintings, furniture and artifacts (it is really something!). the room had a spacious closet, desk and a large comfy chair. the wifi was consistently good throughout my stay.

the hotel entrance is very close to the mezquita's entrance. finding my way back was easy, even without a map. the staff was friendly and helpful. my room overlooked the central patio and was very quiet. the air conditioning worked perfectly.
there was a slight odor in the hallway that seemed to come from the plumbing.

my room overlooked the mezquita directly, a fantastic sight. i had a bidet, a plus for me. the central location made sightseeing super easy. i appreciated the antique vibe and how close it was to main attractions.
the street noise was noticeable, especially at night.

street noisedisappointing breakfast
Honestly, the noise was a real issue. People talked loudly outside late, it made sleep difficult. The window offered little noise reduction, so street sounds were clear. The breakfast, costed extra, turned out pretty disappointing. I found better options nearby.

great locationpoor soundproofingstreet noise
the location was certainly great, right across from the main attraction.
the room faced the street and lacked proper soundproofing, i experienced disturbances early in the morning due to city maintenance work lasting for an hour. the single-pane window allowed all street noise to come in clearly, including activity from nearby bars and pedestrian traffic. the staff were polite but not particularly cute.
