historic charm with modern comfort
preserved cell doororiginal features
i found my standard cell double was really clean and well kept. the original prison features was very interesting, like the preserved cell door, i liked its authenticity.

The parking valets were attentive upon arrival. Michael gave us a much appreciated guided tour later. All the staff were friendly and helpful . Lucy was helpful when I wanted to change rooms because the first room was hot.
My breakfast was cold, and my wife's egg was stone cold. The car park cost £34 from 15:30 Friday afternoon to 11:00 Saturday morning. The lift was out of service, and we needed to take the stairs to the third floor. The windows don't open, and our room was too warm.

audacious pricesbroken machine
I found the minibar prices somewhat audacious, especially considering the readily available local shops. The ice machine was also out of service , so chilling drinks became a minor inconvenience. the television remote seemed to have a mind of its own. I spent a considerable amount of time wrestling with it just to change channels.
