Comfortable stay near the sea
efficient staff breakfast variety clean pool
The reception staff was helpful and efficient. The breakfast offered a huge variety of choices and the food tasted delicious, I especially appreciated the fresh fruits. I could use the clean pool even while waiting for my flight, this included access to showers which I really appreciated before traveling.
The elevator was out of service making access to upper floors difficult.

The room featured a comfortable bed and adequate space. There was a nice balcony overlooking the city. It was a perfect spot to enjoy the morning breeze. The air conditioning worked well, I kept the room at a steady, comfortable temperature.

The hotel is centrally located. It offered easy access to Stone Town's main attractions. The hotel is near many restaurants and shops which makes it convenient for exploring. Getting around on foot was straightforward from this central point.

Breakfast included a broad selection of foods, from local specialties to more familiar options. The dining area was clean. the staff maintained the food area well. I had no problem finding something to eat each morning.

wonderful stay in stone town
helpful staff thoughtful gesture
the staff were really helpful. i asked the front desk if they could help arrange something special for my friend's birthday and they surprised us with a complimentary cake. it was a thoughtful gesture and we were grateful.
located right next to a mosque, i was woken up at 5am by the adhan. pillows are poor quality and uncomfortable. takeaway breakfast consisted of different types of dry, flavourless bread and biscuits.

the hotel has a nice swimming pool and a pool table, which my teenager and i enjoyed. breakfast was good with a lot of variety. the views from the dining area alone are amazing.

unique aesthetic helpful staff
The hotel architecture has a unique aesthetic with antique furniture. The location made exploration very easy, its close proximity to many attractions was very convenient. I found the staff helpful and kind. The hotel design is reflected in individual rooms also.
The hotel charged high value for currency exchange. I observed that the market rate was lower than what the hotel offered. I was a bit disappointed with the exchange rate offered. I hope they align their rates to market standards.

The hotel location is on the seafront. It is central to the historic parts. The building has lots of character. The staff seemed accommodating.
The furniture was very old dated. The floor was dirty. The bathroom had a certain bad smell.

i liked the location, it was very central. the breakfast had a great view of the beach. the staff were friendly and willing to help. i enjoyed my stay for those reasons.
there was no internet signal in my room. also, the tv didn't work. the mattress was too firm. every time my husband turned, i woke up.

Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Town
central location friendly staff
I loved the central location. Stone Town was easily accessible. The breakfast area offered amazing views and many choices. The staff members were friendly. They arranged trips and transport at fair prices. The room was big and very comfortable!

The hotel features a pool and an inner garden. Breakfast offers amazing views with many options. Tropical fruits are especially nice. The hotel building has a traditional style. It is a beautiful museum, but expect no lift.

Rooms are good sized, and I had a very good shower. The family suite offers space and comfort with beds. great facilities. Rooms have balconies, and rooms have sea views or views facing the hotel pool. There is always water in the rooms.

The staff members were all very friendly. They were helpful. They can book all kinds of trips and transport at fair prices. The reception prepared my room with a special decoration. The hotel arranged a taxi for us. It was perfect!

The hotel has a perfect location. I could stay in Stonetown easily. It sits right in front of the port, near good restaurants and shopping areas. There is a night food market directly in front of the hotel and souvenir shops nearby. There is free parking.

charming seafront experience
central location wooden balcony harbour view
i enjoyed the central location, directly on the seafront. the hotel offered easy access to town and shops. our room had a big wooden balcony overlooking the harbour. i found it superb to watch the comings and goings of stone town.
the muezzin was very audible in the morning. with the window open or closed, it was difficult to not notice the outdoor noises.
