Excellent Stay, A Few Minor Hiccups

I found a boot room for cleaning walking boots. Dog treats and toys were a nice touch since I bring my dog. I liked that they allowed dogs in rooms. The grounds are beautiful. They invite exploration. The location is excellent for Dartmoor walks. I appreciated that the staff was generally cute.

The plumbing noise was annoying. You can hear taps and movement from surrounding rooms. This made it hard to sleep.

The breakfast choice had good options for the cooked part. The fish and chips served at the on-site pub tasted delicious. I found it a very enjoyable experience.

The staff was mostly great and very friendly. Receptionists welcomed me. One or two were rude. the service was good but not really good.

My room came with a smart TV and good Wi-Fi. The bed linen was good. A sleep mist bedside bottle was a nice detail. Rooms were clean and nicely decorated, it was very comfortable.

The hotel has excellent facilities and surroundings. I found the location perfect for walkers. The hotel is close to Dartmoor. Its location makes it easy to explore without a car.
