The room was very clean (something I always appreciate). I found the hosts friendly and helpful. The location was also quite convenient, just a short walk to south pier.

Awesome stay!
fantastic hostfree parkingsouth pierpleasure beach
John and Kay ARE fantastic hosts! Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel sits right near the south pier and Pleasure beach. You can park on the street for free.
I only found one tea bag in the room

Acceptable Stay, Some Issues
uncomfortable bedstrict check-in
The bed in the Double Room was not comfortable. I felt the springs. I hardly slept. the check-in process was strict. Because my train was delayed, I arrived late and had trouble getting into the building. A code box for late arrivals would help.

The host was really cute and helpful. Such a nice surprise! the room was clean. towels were provided, a great plus. the hotel has a great location, with a spar and a cashpoint just across the road, too. it made things much easier, i have to say.
only one teabag was available, a slight bummer.
