pleasant stay overall
smeg fridge parking space outdoor seating
The room had a funky smeg fridge. I appreciated this. the hotel provided plenty of parking spaces for cars. i also found seating available outside, so i could relax and enjoy a drink there.
the water pressure in the bathroom sink was weak. it only produced a trickle of water, and i found this inconvenient.

the staff worked hard and were friendly, ensuring i felt welcome. the reception staff were pleasant and helpful during check-in. the bar staff were civil and provided prompt service throughout the evening.

some issues
small pillows dusty room inconvenient stairs
the pillows were small that was frustrating. i also found some dust in the room it wasnt cleaned thoroughly. accessing the room required navigating stairs it was a bit inconvenient with luggage.

Staff were polite. The room included a large bed. It was clean and warm. I found the bathroom spacious. I enjoyed lunch. Breakfast was also excellent.

Fantastic stay!
friendly staff amazing food cozy atmosphere
The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. The food was AMAZING!!! The bar offered a cozy atmosphere with a log-burning stove. It added to our overall enjoyment.
The pillows provided were quite small. I had to request extra ones to be comfortable during the night.

The hotel features a lovely garden area. It is very well maintained. Everything looked to be cared for diligently, including a designated space for dogs.

a bit underwhelming
slow service dusty room
I must say the breakfast was a bit of a letdown. the service crawled at a snail's pace. it took ages before anyone even noticed us to take our order. and when the food finally arrived, it wasn't exactly worth the wait. also, my room felt rather basic, and there was a noticeable layer of dust. Not ideal.

lovely garden comfortable bed nice bar
the grounds had a lovely garden area. it was great for my dog. the bar area was very nice, i found the bed very comfortable. my room included everything i needed.
