low pressure stained carpet
The location was acceptable. It provided easy access to nearby attractions.
The hot water in my room lacked pressure. Showers were not warm enough, disappointing, especially during a cold night. I also noticed the carpet in the bedroom was not clean. It looked like it needed a deep clean.

not exactly a triumph
tricky door lock beer barrel noise
the size of the room was acceptable.
our room had a tricky door lock. i also failed to find a single channel on the tv. the morning was noisy due to beer barrels i heard, annoying.

Excellent Stay Near the Peak District
friendly staff convenient access quick service
The location offers convenient access to both Sheffield and the Peak District. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. They really seemed to care about my stay. The dinner service was quick (and the food delicious!).
The room temperature was a little warmer than i would have liked.

The hotel sits close to Peak District National Park. It provides really good views from its elevated position, about 1000 feet above sea level. The setting is perfect wanting outdoor activities or those needing access to Sheffield.

Ample car parking is available, a crucial factor for those driving into the area. The pub downstairs adds a layer of convenience, with a spot for relaxation and meals without needing to leave the premises. I really appreciated that.

My room included a coffee machine. It also had an extra blanket, which i found useful. The ensuite bathroom was clean, providing necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The room was quite spacious too.
