The B&B is near the Coast to Coast path. My room was large, and the window view was beautiful. I appreciated the comfortable beds. The honesty bar provided a good whisky selection.

Breakfast included cooked and yogurt options. It had a very suitable range. Homemade jams were available, and the breakfast set me up for the day. Meal deals for walkers were an option to purchase.

The location is near the river and offers a beautiful setting. The B&B is perfect for the Coast to Coast walk. It is a walkers' paradise. The hotel was great.

The location was acceptable.
I had a VERY long day of hiking. Arriving late meant a hot breakfast was impossible the next day if I wanted an early start. This WAS unacceptable. A cold breakfast was the only option, because my hike was longer than other guests' hikes.

the bar provided a superb whisky selection. i liked the bike set up because they had a wash up area, dry room and bike storage lockers.
i ordered a jacket potato with tuna mayonnaise, but it was served in a takeaway container. the filling was not great because it was mostly mayonnaise, with little tuna.

The proprietors were cute and created a relaxed atmosphere! Dave went out of his way to ensure the eatery knew we would be arriving late. The breakfast was top quality!
