salmon walls missing spoons
the room i was assigned did not correspond with what i had seen online. i had booked a beautiful room. upon arrival, room 404 was a VERY small space. it faced an inner courtyard. the walls were salmon pink. it reminded me of a cupboard. i find that spoons for the coffee was missing.

amazing stay! i felt so welcomed!
prime position professional staff cosy room excellent breakfast
The hotel boasts a prime position, perfect for city exploration. staff members were professional (a total delight!) and helpful. i appreciated the cosy room and well-appointed bathroom. breakfast was excellent. I especially enjoyed the restaurant meal i had upon arrival.

underwhelming experience
broken air conditioning loud noise
the location was certainly central for exploring the city.
i found there were no phones in the room, a real inconvenience. the air conditioning didn't work, so the room was uncomfortably warm at night (i had to sleep with the windows open). this meant i could hear loud noise from nearby bars.

varied buffet excellent breakfast fast wireless top linens
the breakfast offered varied buffet options and a la carte dishes. i found the packed breakfast for my early departure to be excellent, and i appreciated the fast hotel wireless. the beds had top grade linens and i liked the well-thought-out details with character throughout the hotel.
The hotel lacked a formal complaint procedure. This meant i had to email the general manager directly with any concerns.

I enjoyed the breakfast with additional hot plates made to order. there was a violinist at breakfast! i found the food at the restaurant amazing, though the restaurant is closed on sundays.

The room was comfortable with a small sofa as well as a bed. It made it comfortable for two people. the bathroom had underfloor heating, though the room had poor soundproofing and the road behind was noisy..

the staff was friendly and helpful, and philippe checked me in and made sure i got drinks from the bar. the housekeeping was excellent, and the rooms were perfectly tended and clean, though there was no porter service.

The location is perfect and central for exploring the city, and walking to attractions is easy! the unbeatable location is perfect for walking to all the sights. Though the parking was expensive.

The breakfast was really good! i loved the lovely heritage and the location is amazing. staff were nice, though they didn't interact with us very much. This gave me a lot of privacy. so thoughtful!
our room did not correspond to the photos on the website. the beautiful room we were allocated on check in was tiny! it reminded me of a cupboard! the walls are painted a dark grey, and the overall effect is that of grim darkness.

room upgrade cute staff perfect location
They upgraded my room upon arrival, fantastic. the staff was very helpful.. a real treat! the breakfast buffet had a great selection, i especially liked the fresh pastries and smoked salmon. the location is perfect. It's close to many attractions and restaurants, all within a short walk.
i noticed a slight delay in the bar service one evening, it took a little while to get someone's attention to place an order. this was during a moderately busy time, i am sure it is easy to resolve.

i loved the super clean rooms they were so nice! the breakfast was excellent, a total win! i appreciated the location it was in the centre of everything it was very convenient!
