historic stay, super cool

amazing architecturehelpful stafftired furniture
I loved the building's amazing architecture, really! the courtyard coffee area was super, we spent hours there. the reception staff was helpful and cute. the location was excellent, and we loved exploring.
I thought the furniture needed upgrading. It looked worn. the bathroom fittings looked tired too. They could use a refresh. the breakfast selection could be better. I expected more variety.
Dining
8/10
I discovered that the breakfast variety could be improved. Better options would be appreciated. the restaurant has an overly expensive menu. I thought the food was ladened with sauces. the bar is very nice. I enjoyed the atmosphere.
Facilities
9/10
The hotel offers easy parking right at the gate. This was very convenient. the courtyard provides a lovely space to relax. We enjoyed coffee there. there is also a staircase up to the towers for views. Exploring the hotel is certainly worth it.
Location
10/10
The hotel is right in the middle of the city center. It is perfect for exploring. it is very close to the shopping street. That was useful for us. the main square is also nearby. Many restaurants are there, so it is very practical.
Rooms
8/10
Our room was clean and spacious. Everything was super clean, really. the room was also comfy and elegant. I liked its style. the building has a dank atmosphere. I didn't really appreciated that.

Acceptable Stay with Disappointing Details

historical valueearly noiseparking voucher
The building has great historical value and is beautiful.
The room was next to the laundry room, and it was noisy early in the morning. I was also frustrated by needing a new voucher each day for parking, a guest-friendly solution should be available (it cost €5).

mixed feelings about this parador

historical buildingsewage smelldated room
the building had a lot of history and charm, acceptable.
The room smelled strongly of sewage and felt really old. value for money was also low. The cost was high considering how simple and dated the rooms were. i expected more for the price i paid.
