lovely village stay
great locationbreakfast buffethelpful staff
the hotel location is great. i appreciated easy access to nearby restaurants right outside the front door. the breakfast buffet offered many options. staff members were very attentive and helpful .

i found the town offered delicious lunch and dinner options. it was also easy to get to and from major tourist spots.. the staff offered gluten-free pata de nata at breakfast. the town is near funchal, a short journey away.
i had some sleep issues due to being in a room facing a side street. drunken men played loud music until 4 am some nights. i think this could be a problem for families.

the room included a mini-fridge and a kettle for convenience. additional hangers were promptly provided upon request. the buffet breakfast was great with many options eaten outdoors.

the hotel is near the seafront on a street filled with restaurants and bars. local buses and taxis are easily accessible from here. the area provides a great atmosphere, but is not too overwhelming.
