the location allowed me easy access to the metro and many attractions. i walked to most sites easily. i received a welcome drink upon arrival. the hotel delivered port and pastries to my room each evening. the staff were always helpful and smiling .
The street outside was somewhat noisy early in the morning. Though the double glazing helped, i could still hear some noise.

the breakfast buffet included a wide variety of options. i could order omelets. the breakfast room attendants prepared espresso coffees to order. the fruit and baked goods were delicious.

the hotel is modern and well-managed. requests were answered positively and immediately, a real bonus. i received invitations for wine tasting events. the intimate setting allowed for a personal relationship with the staff.

the staff was very helpful, always smiling, and kind. their professionalism and friendliness. the hotel provides gifts (local specialties and sweets were a nice touch). the location is convenient, near the subway entrance.

The hotel location was excellent. it was central and provided easy access to many places. i liked the gifts left daily. They included port wine and natas. turndown service with chocolates at night was nice too.
The room thermostat could not be controlled. It was a bit too warm.

The room was modern and comfortable. The staff poured coffee early and remembered my milk preference the next day. This exemplified really good service. I ordered transport and it was on time and friendly.

The location was acceptable as it was close to many attractions.
The noise from the metro below was a significant problem. The room shook every few minutes. It was impossible to sleep well, and the staff did not address my concerns about the constant disturbance. the cleanliness was subpar. I noticed stains on the carpets and curtains..

the location was perfect for exploring. our beautiful double or twin room had plenty of space. the staff provided excellent directions and helped with transportation.
i noticed the ac wasn't available. i found it difficult to control the thermostat. usb outlets stopped working during the night, so cellphones didn't charge.
