Acceptable Stay , but Some Issues

The location was convenient. It was near some restaurants.
The room was not what I expected , considering the price. The walls had marks , as if someone had scraped luggage against them. I'm not sure this detail is acceptable for a four-star hotel.

lakeside tranquility
great vista friendly staff
the room was spacious and modern. the hotel's location right on the lake provided amazing vistas! i especially enjoyed the breakfast with lots of variety. the customer service was excellent, attentive and always there for my needs.
parking cost was an unexpected expense!

adequate but underwhelming
the staff were helpful and responsive to requests (i asked for an extra pillow).
The spa requires a reservation and an extra fee. It is a significant drawback if you expect to use it without additional planning and expense. the website should clearly state these requirements.

The breakfast options had great service. I enjoyed the hotel's location near areas that were lively, yet it still felt secluded. The gym featured nice equipment.
The parking was expensive! You had to reserve it. The staff was rude. I felt the room lacked charm, as the color was dark grey.
