Adequate stay overall

the room was lovely. It included nice touches like a fridge stocked with milk and water. There were also delicious brownies in the room.
the walls and windows seemed too thin. I experienced difficulty sleeping due to the busy road outside. It felt expensive given the lack of sleep.

Really good Stay, Truly Nice

cute staffplentiful breakfastcomfortable bed
The staff were genuinely cute. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Local ales were also a treat. I enjoyed the restaurant with its ambiance and tasty food. It had local English wines on the drinks menu, which I appreciated. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. I found nice toiletries and soft towels in the bathroom.
The banging hallway door outside our room was quite loud. It really needs a soft-close mechanism installed.

The hotel has its own car park, a very convenient feature. I noted a cozy pub on the ground floor that maintains a quiet atmosphere on upper floors. The breakfast rooms are well-kept with individual selections.

The staff helped us with directions and restaurant recommendations. I liked that the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom had nice toiletries. The bed was very comfortable.
The hallway door outside our room was loud. It needs a soft-close mechanism. Sound insulation on the room door was zero. We could hear neighbors arguing through both doors.
