strange smell brick wall
the size of the room was acceptable.
The hallways smelled strange, like old cleaning products, i couldn't get used to it. the gym was small. It had one treadmill. the view from my room was terrible. it looked directly at a brick wall.

Acceptable, but with some issues
poor soundproofing excessive noise
the location was great and allowed easy access to many restaurants.
the room lacked soundproofing, and i could hear everything from the neighboring room. it was difficult to sleep due to the noise. i found this unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.

great location helpful staff quiet room
The location is great. i asked for a room facing a particular side, and the desk staff accommodated my request. the staff were helpful. The room was also quiet and comfortable.
there was no fan in the bathroom, which i found a bit of an oversight.

the staff are very helpful, and i found them quite friendly. they offered assistance with parking. they ensured my requests were handled efficiently. we loved the staff. but they were amazing!

constant flush window condensation
The room i stayed in had a few issues. the toilet seemed to have a slow, constant flush that caused it to refill every hour. It was a bit irritating (especially at night). also, i noticed that the windows had quite a bit of condensation in the mornings. Water streamed from them. i also missed having room service available on sunday.

ferry terminal laundry facilities
The location was close to the ferry terminal for Rottnest Island. I found the laundry facilities to be free. Staff members were helpful .

good location ferry terminal train station worn carpet moist carpet friend's room
The location was really good. The train station and ferry terminals to Rottnest are only 5 minutes away. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby, that was handy.
The carpet in my room seemed worn in some spots. I also noticed this in a friend's room. I could smell moist carpet in the hallways too, it was not appealing.
