Wonderful Beachfront Stay!
ocean view friendly staff christmas buffet helpful staff
This hotel provided a balcony! I could enjoy the ocean view directly from my bed. The scenery was amazing. The staff at The Broughshed were amazingly helpful. They were also very friendly. At the Christmas buffet, they embraced the spirit of the holiday. I give hats off to the chef, the buffet was great.

The Monkey Bar food was delicious and very well-prepared. The restaurant provides tasty options. It ensures convenient dining. These options eliminate long drives to find meals at night, avoiding wildlife risks.

The large communal kitchen was well-equipped. I could easily meet other travellers there. The place was convivial. Amenities include a mini golf area. This is situated near family rooms, though these don't have water views.

The aircon worked great and everything was super clean. the larger pool was nice. I swam in it every day.

Nice Coastal Stay
ocean view delicious food
The room overlooked the ocean. It was awesome with about ten dolphins visible. the restaurant offered food that reached another level of deliciousness. i definitely recommend the dining experiences offered here (the seafood was exquisite).
the family room i stayed in overlooked the mini golf area and while clean, didn't have the same appeal as the beach-facing rooms. i feel a room upgrade would have enhanced the experience.

Really good Location and Wildlife Encounters
beach view good wifi friendly staff dolphin experience
The room offered a balcony providing a clear beach view. The Wi-Fi network speed was consistently good. Staff members were always friendly and cute. Its location is very close to the Dolphin Experience. I found the dolphin experience to be quite educational.
I noticed that the pool maintenance was infrequent, even during an off-peak period. It would have been better if the pools were cleaned regularly.

easy beach access convenient restaurant nice experience superb beach
The location provided easy beach access. A restaurant was conveniently on site. The dolphin experience was nice. The beach was superb.
The balcony lights remained on all night, a bit disruptive to the natural atmosphere.

Reception was friendly and helpful even upon our late arrival after sunset. Staff moved a bedside lamp to the table upon request to facilitate work. The room was generally clean and well prepared for our arrival.

The Boughshed restaurant offered a lovely setting for dinner in the evening. The pork belly and the Thai green fish curry were delicious choices. Wine and prosecco were available at a good price.

The location offered beautiful views with dolphins and pelicans passing by multiple times daily. Experiencing sunsets directly from the cottage was a highlight. The ocean location felt remote and far from populated areas.
