charming stay by the sea

great locationsilent fridgefree parking
the location was superb near the promenade. the room featured a fridge and microwave. the provision of tea and coffee was really thoughtful. i enjoyed the warm welcome and the convenience of free parking on site.
The bathroom felt a bit cramped. It could benefit from a more spacious layout.

a nearby cafe, the clock house, offers a breakfast menu i sampled, and i found it quite enjoyable to start the day and was very well presented.

self-check-in via a key lockbox was simple. the hosts were friendly and approachable. they maintained the facilities very well. the service was very efficient and warm.

the double room included a tv and a fan. the room was clean and light-filled. it had big windows and a comfy bed. the thick carpet was very cute.

adequate, but not without issues

ample spacepoor legroomhot water
the room was bigger than i anticipated, with a decent amount of cupboard and wardrobe space.
the bathroom situation was not great. there was barely any legroom when using the toilet. plus, the hot water tap in the bathroom hardly worked at all, even after i let it run for ages as the sign suggested. that was just great, wasn't it?
