i found the location to be really convenient. it was a short walk from the historic harbour and the river valency runs right by it. the breakfast was excellent i especially liked the winter trip option. the staff were attentive the breakfast arrived quickly and tasted good.
The room was a bit too warm. There was no air conditioning, and i couldn't fully open the windows because they were just small tilt windows

excellent locationhelpful staff
The location was excellent. The included toiletries in refillable dispensers was a good touch (reducing waste is always a plus). The staff were helpful. The breakfast was great and had a very high standard.
The room lacked air conditioning, and the operable windows were small.

Riverside Retreat

cute staffspacious roomrubber duck racesnarrow staircases
I found the staff very cute. They even warmed my honey for me (how thoughtful!). The room was spacious, clean and inviting. I loved watching the ducks while having breakfast. I also enjoyed the school fair rubber duck races. It was a real treat.
I noticed a need for better luggage handling. Carrying my suitcase up the narrow staircases was difficult. There was no elevator, challenging.

The hotel is situated right on the river, with easy walking access to the fine scenery. It is a perfect location and also close to the shops. The scenery offers nice views for tourists.
