river viewsconvenient locationhomemade flapjacks
the king room balcony was a great choice it offered fantastic views of the river. i enjoyed the convenience of the location a short walk led directly to the high street and shops. breakfast was a delight with plentiful choices and homemade touches like flapjacks.
the teaspoons needed a polish.

the hotel offers parking right outside the door this made arrivals and departures very straightforward. a short walk connects you to town offering easy access to shops restaurants and local attractions. the garden overlooks the river providing a quiet escape

my room featured a king size bed i found very comfortable plus i had garden and river views. the modern bathroom included a great shower a real treat after exploring i found coffee tea and cookies waiting for me which was thoughtful.

breakfast presented a vast array of options including a full scottish cooked breakfast plus homemade jams. fresh fruit cocktails and scottish cheeses. the homemade shortbread upon arrival created a cute feel i really enjoyed this.

i loved the decor it was cute and random yet fitted together i especially liked the peter pan picture private access to the river was a bonus too. the breakfast was fantastic everything you could need fresh and delicious cooked just the way i liked it
the grout in the shower needed cleaning it was overdue

i had a wonderful three-night stay. the garden was beautiful near the river. brian and valerie were cute hosts. i really appreciated their hospitality.
the pillows were flat (but i didn't ask for alternative, so it's on me).

the hostess seemed fairly helpful.
The mattress reminded me of it was from a discount store, and the pillows were flat. the breakfast table used a plastic tablecloth, and it was sticky. The sausages tasted bland. the salt and pepper shakers looked pretty, but they needed a scrub.
