The location was convenient and near the train station. That was acceptable.
The room was too hot. I could not adjust the temperature. also, i didn't realize breakfast wasn't included. paying extra for a very simple breakfast was annoying!!!

i was greeted by a genuinely friendly host upon arrival. i noticed a high level of attention was paid to detail throughout my stay. the breakfast offered homemade jams, scones, and pastries, all of which were good. a cute traybake in the room was a very nice touch. i appreciated the close walking distance to the city center.
the bedroom and ensuite felt somewhat small. the room tended to get quite warm, a bit uncomfortable.

the double room included a modern bathroom. fresh milk in the fridge and tissues were provided, showing thoughtful attention to guest comfort. the room had very good lighting. it was quiet and clean, i am grateful!!!

the breakfast selection was really good, with a great variety and very well-cooked options. i especially loved the homemade savory scones, they were amazing!!! the homemade cookies offered were also delicious.

Really good B&B Experience

Julie is a friendly and accommodating host. The B&B has been sympathetically restored with original features. The bed had comfy Egyptian cotton sheets and a duvet cover. I especially liked the original fireplace in my room.
The room was very hot. I didn't expect to pay extra for breakfast.

Breakfast had fresh fruits, yogurts and cereals. I chose the cooked breakfast with Cumberland sausage (it was delicious!). The cheese and bacon scone was freshly baked that morning.

The B&B is super clean. It is located in a Georgian town house. The shower was hot and powerful. It added to the comfort.
